Novacroft’s business development department works directly with Novacroft’s directors, managers and team leaders to steer core business and project work towards business growth, ensuring that the strategic direction of the company is at the forefront of its development.
Novacroft’s Sales Director is a member of the management team, and is ultimately responsible for the achievement of annual sales targets and departmental Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Business development team members have a close working relationship with the project management and account management teams, in order to interpret client business requirements, formulate and define new projects, and ensure the smooth handover of new business, including the development of outline project specifications. Business development also maintains close links with marketing, in order to prepare appropriate marketing material, plan sales campaigns and attend key conferences and networking events, and maintain Novacroft’s internal prospect database.
On an ongoing basis, Novacroft’s business development department maintains an active interest in projects and a close liaison with client contacts in order to ensure effective catering for client business requirements.
Business development team members at Novacroft have previously worked with other leading providers of smart card solutions and end users, including bus operating companies in both the UK and Middle East, and have experience in managing two of the largest smart card schemes in the UK. Novacroft has benefited greatly from this experience, having won contracts in the last few years with government departments, passenger transport executives and numerous local authorities.
