This team originates all the software and hardware innovations that give us our competitive advantage and our clients the smart, easy-to-use solutions they want.
This busy team of account managers and sales executives focus on finding and delighting clients – as well as encouraging each other to celebrate random events by bringing in foodie treats.
Currently 60-strong, our team of developers, testers, project managers, business analysts and support analysts is the fastest-growing in the company.
Our card bureau is run by a hard-working team of 12 who oversee the production of more than a million smartcards a year, many personalised, printed and dispatched within 24 hours.
Our award-winning customer support team is full of great communicators who get what great service is all about and grows from 50 to over 150 at busy times of the year.
Compliance & Business Improvement
This team helps us all maintain the highest standards and spot opportunities to improve and is known not only for meticulous attention to detail, but also for enjoying a laugh. Thank goodness.
Our HR team makes sure we recruit the right people and do right by them in terms of pay, benefits and support and development opportunities. (And it includes a big lottery winner!)
Our small team of number crunchers help us manage, record and review our finances and make smart financial decisions. They’ve also led us down the lean path, becoming 90% paperless!
This team takes care of the infrastructure on which our websites and database servers are hosted – and of all of us when our computers and phones decide to have an off day.

Building your career
Four times a year everyone here has the chance to sit down and talk with their manager about their job, what’s been going well, how they think they could get even better and where they see their future. Together, they’ll set some goals for the coming months and agree how best to reach them.
Gaining new skills
We’re keen for all team members to get the knowledge and skills they need to do their current job brilliantly or to move up to the next level if that’s their goal.
- We run in-house training for Contact Centre and Production team members, enabling many to get nationally-recognised NVQ qualifications
- All our team leaders are currently taking an Institute of Leadership and Management course at Northampton University
- Our software developers and testers are forever popping out for a few days of intensive training in the latest technology and standards
- Our Compliance and Business Improvement team attends an array of annual courses to keep up to speed with the latest national and international standards
- If someone flags up a skills gap they’re invited to find a course to fill it – and we’ll fund it.
