Novacroft’s CEO & Founder has hosted a session on defining your vision, post Covid-19
As part of Cranfield University and Bettany Centre for Entrepreneurship‘s Unlock!: The Un-Conference, Debra Charles, entrepreneur and futurologist, has facilitated a practical workshop to help people understand what success looks like, and what action is needed to take to get there.Watch Debra’s Cranfield Un-Conference session
The event, which took place online on Tuesday 7th July 2020, saw Debra tell her audience:
There’s never been a more important time to take a breath and think about you. Take a breath, rise up from the day to day and visualise your future. If you know where in life you are trying to navigate to, you are more likely to get there.
Debra encouraged attendees to choose a moment in time and create a picture of what life will look like. Session participants were inspired with the tools enabling them to:
- Understand what success looks like at a moment in time of their choosing (six months, six years, your choice), which could be success in career terms, home, family life, team, state of mind, etc.
- Articulate why that’s important
- Identify key challenges and opportunities
- Get clarity of vision
As a result, event-goers came away with a definitive view of what they wanted more of, and what they wanted less of in life, and an understanding of how to get there.Watch Debra’s Cranfield Un-Conference session
Debra is delighted to have been part of this event, and has also recently delivered a webinar addressing the importance of kindness in helping navigate the current global situation, in association with Cranfield University’s BGP Response Team.
